Nobody hurt in Burnside condo fire

PORTLAND, Ore. - Nobody was hurt in a condominium fire on West Burnside on Saturday afternoon.

Crews from Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue and Portland Fire were called to 6605 W. Burnside just before 1:30 p.m. after a neighbor reported seeing black smoke coming from the building.

Crews quickly put out the fire, which was contained to one unit in the five-story building.

The other residents had already evacuated, and the owner was not home at the time.

Investigators are still figuring out what started the fire.
