ODOT will close St. Johns Bridge for 6 nights for routine inspections
PORTLAND, Ore. – Monday, Feb. 5, starts the first of six nights of closures on the St. Johns Bridge.
The U.S. 30 Bypass will be closed for six nights for routine bridge inspections, ODOT says.
The bridge will be closed to drivers, but it will remain open to TriMet, emergency vehicles, pedestrians, bicyclists and people with disabilities during the closures.
ODOT said the closures begin at 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5 and reopen at 5 a.m. the next morning. The closures will continue on that schedule through the morning of Sunday, Feb. 11.
ODOT suggests motorists use U.S. 30, Interstate 5 and Interstate 405 as alternate routes.
