Officials want help identifying man hit, killed by motorist in Southeast Portland

County officials are asking for the public's help identifying a man who was hit and killed by a motorist in late April.

A report from the Multnomah County Medical Examiner's Office said the man died in a crash near Southeast 92nd and Foster just before 4:30 a.m. back on April 26. He went into cardiac arrest on his way to the hospital and died shortly thereafter, according to a police report.

  • 30 - 50 years old
  • 5'5" tall, 165 pounds
  • Short black hair, brown eyes
  • Tattoo on upper right arm
  • Mole on left lower chin
  • Scars on chest
  • Scars on top of head
  • Last seen wearing: Red hoodie, black shirt, jeans and dark Nike shorts

Authorities said there is no criminal investigation associated with this case. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said. There was no indication from police that distracted driving or possible impairment were factors.
