One wounded in Southeast Portland shooting
PORTLAND, Ore. —
A 35-year-old woman was wounded by gunfire early Saturday morning after police said someone fired into the car she was in.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. in the 9900 block of Southeast Stark Street.
Police said there were two vehicles parked in a parking lot. Someone from one of the vehicles fired several times into the other one.
The suspect then drove away in a silver Cadillac sedan west on Stark. The driver of the other car also drove away.
Shortly after, police said they were informed the shooting victim was at Portland Adventist Medical Center. They said she was expected to survive.
The Gang Enforcement Team was called to investigate.
