Oregon Coast Aquarium sea otter predicted whether spring will arrive
NEWPORT, Ore. —
This morning, Oregon Coast Aquarium sea otter "Punxsutawney" Schuster made an important call.
The sea otter swam over to the ledge, where he could select a tray of colorful treats representing spring, or a big blue snowflake treat representing winter.
He selected the winter treat, meaning Oregon will have another six weeks of winter.
This decision isn't consistent with all the animals predicting the weather today.
The Oregon Zoo's hedgehog Fufu says spring is coming early.
