Police: Armed man robs Northeast Portland bank

PORTLAND, Ore. - Police are looking for an armed man who they said robbed a Northeast Portland bank Thursday morning.

Employees told police that a man armed with a handgun walked into the Columbia State Bank, located at 5083 Northeast 122nd Avenue, and demanded money just before 9:30 a.m.

No one was hurt.

The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police are looking for a white man in his late 20s who is 6-foot-2 with a medium build. He was wearing a gray and black coat, black stocking cap, black pants and a black bandana over his face, police said.
