      Police ask for help finding missing man

      PORTLAND, Ore. - Police are asking for the public's help finding a missing man who they said has not been seen since Saturday and may be suffering from a mental health crisis.


      Matthew Robert McConnell-Hegland was last seen by friends at 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 22. His family told KATU that he was sleeping on a friend's couch.


      He's described as a white man who is 6' tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has brown hair, hazel eyes and light facial hair. He was wearing beige pants, a green polo short and a black jacket, police said.


      Detectives are concerned that he may be suffering from a mental health crisis.


      Anyone who sees McConnell-Hegland is asked to call 911.
