Police ask for information related to Hillsboro homicide

HILLSBORO, Ore. - Police are asking the public for information about a Hillsboro man who was violently assaulted in his home earlier this month.

Hillsboro police said Nicholas "Pablo" Perez-Angeles, 50, died of his injuries. Police are investigating the case as a homicide.

Officers responded to a 9-1-1 call about a man who'd been assaulted at his home near S.E. Alder and 12th Avenue on Jan. 17. The victim, Perez-Angeles, was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
