Police identify driver killed in crash with MAX train
PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland police identified the driver killed in a crash with a MAX train Sunday afternoon.
Monday, police said the driver was 69-year-old Carmen Langes, of Portland.
The crash occurred near East Burnside Street and Southeast 99th Avenue around 4:10 p.m.
Officials said no one else was injured.
The crash closed Burnside between 97th and 102nd avenues and it closed 99th Avenue north and south of Burnside.
Police said the Major Crash Team and Traffic Investigation Unit continue investigating the crash.
