PORTLAND, Ore. - One man was stabbed during a bar fight in Northeast Portland on Sunday night, police said.

It happened at Pappy's Bar and Grill, located at 1144 N.E. 82nd Avenue, around 11 p.m.

The fight started inside the bar, but the stabbing occurred in the parking lot, police said. The two men involved in the fight know each other.

On Monday, police detained and released the suspect, 47-year-old Lamar Lovette Hill.

The victim, 35-year-old Michael George Wallingford, was rushed to the hospital with injuries that police first said were not life-threatening.
