PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland police are asking for the public's help finding a medically endangered man.
Tim Walden, 64, was reported missing from his care facility in the 10400 block of Southeast Cora Street early Friday morning.
Police say Walden suffers from a serious medical condition and he needs immediate care.
"He can sometimes seem quite lucid, or may seem altered and confused. He was last known to be on foot, and tends to walk very slowly," police said in a news release.
A search and rescue K-9 team is on its way to help police as they search the area near Walden's care facility.
Detectives will be activating a reverse phone notification system to tell neighbors about the search for Walden.
Walden is described as a white man who is 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds. He has short, salt and pepper hair, and brown eyes. He is also missing several teeth.
Anyone who knows of Walden's whereabouts is asked to immediately call 911. Anyone with additional information is asked to call Detective Mike Weinstein at 503-823-0446.
