TriMet releases video of teen girl nearly struck by gunfire on bus
PORTLAND, Ore. -- KATU News has obtained surveillance videos of a teen girl who was nearly struck by gunfire earlier this year while riding a TriMet bus.
Portland Police officers responded to a shots fired call at NE 15th Avenue and Dekum Street on April 19.
Moments later, police got a call from TriMet that one of their buses was struck by gunfire down the street at NE 26th and Dekum.
One of the bullets nearly struck a teen girl inside the bus. The video shows her reaching up to request a stop moments before a bullet zoomed inches from her face.
She was not injured in the incident. Portland Police say no arrests have been made.
