Police: Teen in custody after breaking into elementary school
PORTLAND, Ore. —
Police say a teenage boy is in custody after he allegedly broke into an elementary school early Monday morning.
Portland Police were called to Kelly Elementary School around 4 a.m. for a burglary.
The teen was caught near the school and placed in custody after attempting to escape.
He's being transferred to the Juvenile Detention Home.
No word on charges.
Officers searched the area for another suspect, but couldn't track him down.
