Portland rents cooling off, but other metro area still seeing rising prices
PORTLAND, Ore. —
If you're looking to rent in the city of Portland, right now's the perfect time to move to a new place.
According to Apartment List, the median price of a 2-bedroom apartment in Portland has dropped since last year to $1,300.
But that's just in the city.
Rental rates climbed in other areas including Salem, Gresham, Vancouver, Beaverton and Hillsboro. The fastest growth was in Salem and Hillsboro is the most expensive.
