MOUNT HOOD, Ore. - A 22-year-old skier from Portland was found safe after he got lost on Mt. Hood Friday night.

Conor Roland-Chicvara called his mother from the mountain with his cell phone to tell her he was lost at around 8 p.m., Clackamas County sheriff's deputies said. His mother called the Timberline Ski Patrol, who then called the sheriff's office.
