Reward offered in robbery of Portland Cricket Wireless store

A reward is being offered to help find the man who robbed a Cricket Wireless store on Saturday, April 5.

It happened at the store on Northeast 82nd avenue and Fremont Street. The suspect had a gun. The store clerk was caught off-guard after taking out the trash.

Police say the suspect appeared to be a customer waiting to go inside when the worker got back. However, once he unlocked the door-- the suspect pulled a gun.

The suspect is in his 50s-- about six-feet-tall and he was wearing some pretty distinct clothing -- sweat shorts and a pink shirt with red sleeves.

Police released surveillance video of the suspect.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.

To leave a tip, call 503-823-HELP (4357). Tipsters can remain anonymous.
