Roads across Portland metro area closed due to dangerous, icy conditions


The Portland Bureau of Transportation has shut down several major streets due to icy and dangerous conditions.

As of 4 p.m., these closures were posted to PBOT's site:

  • NE Gilham from Burnside to Davis


As of 3:30 p.m., these are the closures for Multnomah County:

  • NW Cornell Road from NW Skyline Blvd. to NW Thompson Road
  • NW Springville Road from NW Skyline Blvd. to the Washington County line in Bethany area
  • NW Germantown Road from NW Skyline Blvd. to NW Kaiser Road (Portland's section from NW Skyline to Highway 30 is also closed)
  • NE 238th Drive in Wood Village from NE Arata Road to NE Glisan Street

As of 3:30 p.m., these roads were classified as "snow zones" in Washington County:

  • Cornell, 175th and lower Barnes
