Search and rescue finds missing elderly man's body in Lewis River
WOODLAND, Wash. —
Search and Rescue volunteers have located a missing elderly man's body in a river near his residence.
Deputies say there is no crime suspected.
Cowlitz County Deputies got a call from the manager of the Lewis River RV park late Tuesday night, that an elderly man who lives in the park had not been seen for several days.
A deputy learned the man, Stephen Glen Orley, 69, had health problems and dementia, and was not in his trailer.
Cowlitz County Search and Rescue volunteers were brought in early Wednesday and found the victim's body out in the river. Divers were called to the scene to assist in the recovery. It was roughly 100 yards or less down stream from the victims trailer, which was on the river.
