Semi hauling shredded paper crashes, blocking I-5 on-ramp from Columbia Blvd.
PORTLAND, Ore. —
A semi trailer rolled on an Interstate 5 on-ramp early Wednesday morning, spilling a load of shredded paper across the roadway.
The Oregon Dept. of Transportation closed the Columbia Boulevard on-ramp to I-5 southbound while crews work to clear the paper and tipped trailer.
ODOT hopes to have one lane of the on-ramp back open by 6 a.m.
No word on what caused the crash.
For a Timesaver Traffic alternate route, try taking Delta Park or Lombard to get onto I-5 southbound.
