Suicide hoax puts Liberty high School in lockdown, two students in custody

HILLSBORO, Ore. – Two students are in custody Wednesday following a fake suicide call that disrupted classes at Liberty High School.

The Hillsboro School District said a student at Liberty High worked with a student from another school to give phony information to a suicide hotline.

The hotline sent law enforcement to the campus, which forced school officials to go into a lockdown for about a half-hour.

One of the students was taken into custody at Liberty High School.

It's unclear where the other student went to school, and what charges the two of them will face.
