ALOHA, Ore. – The 35-year-old accused of killing and dismembering an Aloha mother late last month was back in a Washington County Court on Monday.
Prosecutors filed a new indictment against Jeremiah Johnston in the killing of Sara Zghoul.
The 28-year-old woman was found dead in the back of a car on January 25.
Deputies took Johnston into custody later that night; he was found injured and down an embankment behind a Beaverton home.
Johnston was charged with murder and abuse of a corpse. He pleaded not guilty to the crimes last Thursday.
Johnston is being held without bail in the Washington County Jail.
