Suspect in Thursday's Hood River bank robbery arrested
HOOD RIVER, Ore. - Police officers in Hood River tracked down and arrested a man they said robbed a bank last week then set off a large manhunt in town.
Several schools and other buildings were locked down last Thursday during the search for the man who robbed the U.S. Bank branch on 12th Street.
The suspect evaded officers after the robbery despite a wide-ranging search for him through the afternoon.
But on Monday police said they caught up to their man. Investigators served a search warrant at Timothy Bryan Glenn's home in Hood River and arrested him, according to a police spokesperson.
Police on Thursday said that Glenn showed tellers a gun during the robbery and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
