Terri Horman, now known as Terri Moulton, was arrested Friday afternoon outside San Francisco for driving a stolen car.

She was booked into the Marin County Jail and charged with taking a vehicle without the owner's consent.

Moulton was also arrested last summer in California, when she was accused of stealing a handgun.

She is the former stepmom of Kyron Horman, a Portland boy who disappeared more than 6 years ago. She was the last person to see 7-year-old Kyron on June 4, 2010 at Skyline Elementary School in Northwest Portland. Kyron was at a pre-class science fair, where he was photographed, but then disappeared.

After learning about the arrest, Kyron's mother Desiree Young told KATU, "This makes me optimistic that this year will be a better year for Kyron. Terri's luck is running out and we will catch up to her. I hope we can charge her soon for Kyron."

Terri Moulton has never been named a suspect in the disappearance of Kyron.
