Three-alarm fire destroys restaurant, store in Estacada

ESTACADA, Ore. - It took fire crews about three hours to put out a large fire that engulfed both Bailey's Pub and Grub and the Currinsville Store in Estacada early Saturday morning.

A neighbor smelled smoke around midnight, and went out to see what was going on. She saw the 100-year-old building on fire and called 911.

When firefighters arrived, they found flames and heavy smoke coming out. They took a defensive approach and called for a third alarm soon after they arrived.

The Estacada rural fire district got help from Boring Fire, Sandy Fire, Colton Fire and Clackamas Fire District 1.

Nobody was hurt in the fire.
