      Tips sought in identifying man found in field shot dead

      The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is asking for help from the public in identifying a man found dead in a field Monday.


      The medical examiner's office the man died of a gunshot wound.


      The sheriff's Office said the Hispanic man had a distinctive cross with blue stones on a neck chain.


      The man's body was found was found in the area of Northeast Arndt Road and Highway 551 between Wilsonville and Aurora.


      A citizen called police after finding the body.


      The man is in his 20s or 30s, deputies said. He is about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He was wearing an Army camo t-shirt, blue jeans and black-and-orange Nike sneakers.
