Trail Blazers visit Oregon Historical Society's new civil rights exhibit
PORTLAND, Ore. —
Several Portland Trail Blazers players paid a visit to the Oregon Historical Society's new civil rights visit Wednesday.
CJ McCollum, Evan Turner, Shabazz Napier and Noah Vonleh toured the exhibit. They learned about the strides Oregon has made in race relations, but also about the state's ugly racist past.
Local high school students also took the tour alongside the Blazers. One student said it was eye-opening because the subject matter doesn't get talked about in school often.
