Transient man sought on kidnapping charge related to missing Oregon City girl
OREGON CITY, Ore. -- Deputies have issued an arrest warrant for Kelsey McCune, a man accused of kidnapping 13-year-old Samantha Dodson of Oregon City.
The warrant accuses McCune of second-degree kidnapping, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office reported.
Dodson went missing Tuesday night and deputies say she is believed to be with 40-year-old McCune, a transient who spent Thanksgiving with Dodson's family.
The pair may be looking for places to camp, deputies said.
McCune is white, 6 feet tall and 170 pounds with a glass eye and salt-and-pepper hair. Deputies say he makes money doing freelance computer work.
He may be carrying large duffel bags or backpacks with camping gear.
