Two boats, garage burn in NE Portland house fire

PORTLAND, Ore. - Two boats and a garage caught fire Monday afternoon in Northeast Portland.

There are no reported injuries. Firefighters said everyone made it safely out of the house at 1919 NE 138th Place. The fire started at around 12:30 p.m.

Firefighters had a difficult time with downed power lines and their water supply, according to Lt. Rich Chatman.

A KATU photographer at the scene said the house was spared, but the garage and boats were destroyed.
