Two taken to hospital after rollover crash on Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy

BEAVERTON, Ore. - Medics took two people to a hospital after a rollover crash on the Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway Thursday morning, firefighters said.

The crash between two pickup trucks happened at S.W. 99th Avenue around 8:40 a.m. One of the trucks rolled onto its side, trapping one person.

Fire crews stabilized the truck and pulled the person out of a vehicle when they arrived at the scene, according to Chris Hamilton with Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue.

Police diverted westbound traffic in the area.

Medics took two people to OHSU in Portland. Beaverton Police Spokesman Mike Rowe said their injuries were minor.

A third person, who was a passenger in one of the trucks, was treated by medics at the scene and didn't need to go to a hospital.
