Vancouver couple facing federal sex trafficking charges
ALOHA, Ore. -- A Vancouver, Wash. couple accused of using an underage girl for prostitution will now face federal charges.
Police arrested Davonte and Torri Donahue when the couple allegedly led officers on a chase and crashed their car in Aloha on April 16. Officers started to follow Davonte's sedan during a sting at the Comfort Inn in Beaverton.
After the crash, officers found a rifle and ammunition inside the car.
The Donahues face one count each of sex trafficking of a minor and one count of transportation of a minor for prostitution. Davonte Donahue faces an additional charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The charges against the Donahues in Washington County will be dropped.
