Wanted Medford man could be in Portland-Vancouver area

ASHLAND, Ore. -- Authorities are looking for a man they say is a suspect in a Jackson County murder last week.

A Jackson County grand jury handed down indictments against two Medford men in the murder of Frank Ronald Damiano, 62, of Ashland, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's office.

Othon Robert Campos, Jr., 41, of Medford, was indicted on the several charges including aggravated felony murder, two counts of felony murder, two counts of robbery in the first degree and burglary in the first degree.

Detectives believe Campos is currently in the Portland-Vancouver area.

Authorities are asking the public for help in locating Campos.

Police say the man is known to rely on public transportation and taxis, and frequents pawn shops.

Officials say he has lived in Portland and in Vancouver in the past, and is familiar with the area.

Officials say you should not try to contact Campos, but if you know where he is or see him, you should call 911.
