'Where's Waldo Bandit?' Back in jail
PORTLAND, Ore. - The man dubbed the "Where's Waldo Bandit" after robbing a bank looking like the character, is back in jail.
Ryan Homsley, who was sentenced in 2010, is scheduled to be released from federal custody in August of this year.
He had been serving part of his sentence in a halfway house in Portland.
Earlier this week, according to a law enforcement source, officials concluded that "Homsley was having issues at the halfway house and it was determined that he needed to be in a more secure facility."
The official refused to elaborate beyond that saying whatever the issue was it did not involve plans to flee custody.
He was arrested on Thursday by the U.S. Marshals and is in custody at the Multnomah County Jail.
