Woman dies in Vancouver after flipping SUV

VANCOUVER, Wash. - A woman was killed Thursday when she lost control of her SUV and flipped it.

Police said Trina Wase, 44, was thrown from her Chevy SUV, which righted itself and then crashed into the Clark PUD substation on 112th Avenue.

Wase died at the scene.

Police responded to the crash at about 4:10 p.m.

According to police, the woman was driving "with speed" on a dirt lot behind the Shell station on 28th and 112th when the crash happened. Police said they don't know how fast she was going, but alcohol appeared to be a factor in the crash.

The damage to the substation was minor, police said.
