Kitzhaber announces senior staff changes
SALEM, Ore. (AP) - Two of Gov. John Kitzhaber's top advisers are moving on.
The governor's office announced Tuesday that Chief of Staff Curtis Robinhold will leave at the end of the year to become deputy executive director at the Port of Portland.
Communications Director Tim Raphael will become senior vice president in charge of Oregon operations at the Seattle-based lobbying firm Strategies 360. He leaves Dec. 1.
Mike Bonetto (buh NEHT' oh), the governor's health care policy adviser, will replace Robinhold. No replacement has been named for Raphael or Bonetto.
Kitzhaber is nearly three years into his third term. He has not said whether he'll run for re-election next year.
