Tis the season... we're just a few weeks away from tree lightings

The autumn leaves are falling, Thanksgiving is a few weeks away and before we know it Christmas will be here. One of the sure signs the holiday season is upon us is the arrival of the 75-foot Douglas Fir in Pioneer Courthouse Square and believe it or not, we're just a week and a half away from the big delivery. The tree will be arriving Friday, Nov. 15 and the lights will go on the day after Thanksgiving. Here's a look at when other tree lightings are scheduled throughout the metropolitan area:
