Your Voice, Your Vote: Sen. Merkley on health care replacement bill, G20 summit
Congress is wrapping up the Fourth of July holiday recess and getting ready to head back to Washington D.C.
The Senate goes back in session on Monday, and the House on Tuesday.
KATU's Lincoln Graves talked one-on-one with Oregon Democratic Senator Jeff Merkley before the end of the holiday recess.
Merkley is an outspoken critic of the Republican bill in the Senate to repeal and replace Obamacare. They discuss the postponed vote, and the bill's chances of survival.
President Trump met with other world leaders at the G20 summit in Europe last week, including a face-to-face meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Graves asks what Senator Merkley would have liked to see happen during that meeting.
