Five Portland Thorns players selected for U.S. Women's National Team roster

PORTLAND, Ore. – Five Portland Thorns players were named to the U.S. Women’s National team roster for January training camp Wednesday.

The five players are midfielders Lindsey Horan and Allie Long, defenders Meghan Klingenberg and Emily Sonnett and goalkeeper Adrianna Franch.

The U.S. Women’s National Team roster is made up of 26 players. Their training camp runs from Jan. 6 through Jan. 21 at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Carson, Calif.

The January training ends with a friendly match against Denmark on Jan. 21 in San Diego at the San Diego County Credit Union Stadium.
