Former Duck Jordan Bell works out for the Blazers
TUALATIN, Ore. —
The Trail Blazers hosted their last batch of college stars ahead of Thursday's NBA draft this week and a former Oregon Ducks star was among them.
"I like the rain, I like the weather, people around here are probably some of the nicest people I've ever met," said 6'9" Jordan Bell after his workout at the Blazers practice facility in Tualatin.
Bell is projected as a likely first-round pick and is expected to be the first Ducks player to hear his name called Thursday. Guards Tyler Dorsey and Dillon Brooks are projected as possible second-round picks.
The NBA Draft is Thursday, June 22 and will be held at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The Blazers hold the 15th, 20th and 26th picks in the first round.
