Jackie moved to the Beaver state from the Buckeye state, after working as a weekend anchor and reporter in Dayton, Ohio.

In Maine, she covered the statehouse, harsh winters and spring storms from the coast to the mountains, and the public memorial of Senator Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts. Prior to her stint at WMTW in Portland, Jackie worked as a reporter for WLBZ in Bangor, Maine.

The New England native got her start in the business at WCVB in Boston as an assignment editor, after studying broadcast journalism at Emerson College. Jackie also holds a master's degree in Interactive Media from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.

Outside of work, Jackie and her family enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest. Jackie has a love of coffee, CrossFit and travel, especially visiting family back in New Hampshire. Jackie and her husband, Ryan, a Criminal Justice professor at Portland State University, have a son named Lewis who turned one in September 2015.
