Beth Jusino, the author of the new book Walking to the End of the World, will be at Powell’s on Monday, 10/22 at 7:30pm.
Her warm-hearted travel narrative is about taking three months off from work and unplugging from “regular” life to walk the iconic 1000-mile Camino de Santiago through France and Spain. She writes about experiencing Europe at a slow pace, and the amazing sites and lifelong friends she met along the route. She wants to inspire others to have the same experience that she had at their own pace. Beth is not an uber athlete or super outdoorsy, she thinks this is an undertaking that many people –young and old–can pursue and may even have a life-changing experience from.
