Kara Mack took to the ice with the Winterhawks to tell us about the Family Fun Night at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. All you’ll need are your own ice skates to enjoy the first-ever free Family Fun Nights on Friday, December 29 and Saturday, December 30 at the Rose Quarter. And while gliding across the ice or sitting in the stands, digital jumbo screens will show fun-filled movies and Winterhawks Hockey action.
Venue doors open each evening at 5 p.m., with skating lasting from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. On Friday, back-to-back Disney movies Frozen (5:30 p.m.) and The Mighty Ducks (7:30 p.m.) will be shown on the new digital screens of the Coliseum scoreboard. For added excitement on Saturday night, a live broadcast of the Winterhawks battle in Seattle will be carried on the screens starting at 6 p.m. For more information and tickets, visit rosequarter.com.
