After A Dry Start Spring Break Turns Soggy.{/h2}
A strong storm circulating off the South Oregon Coast will spread rain into much of the area overnight and into Tuesday. Besides being wet also expect some gusty winds coming out of The Columbia River Gorge. Peak gusts Tuesday could top 45 to 50 mph between Troutdale and Cascade Locks. Snow Levels will remain at or just above pass level at 3,000 feet and a Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect for the Western Slopes of The Cascades. A Winter Storm Warning is posted for the eastern slopes where up to 18" of snow is possible.
Good news, Tuesday's weather system will track into California late in the day putting Oregon into a period of Drier weather Wednesday & Thursday.
