After they got married, Dan and Kelli Gassman wanted to start a family right away, but they struggled with infertility issues. Now, they are the parents of two kids, that they adopted nine months before Kelli gave birth to them. They joined us to share they story of embryo adoption. It's a process that allows couples who are unable to have children on their own to not only adopt, but then give birth, to embryos donated after in-vitro fertilization by other couples. Right now, there are more than 600,000 frozen embryos in storage in the United States and hundreds of thousands more worldwide.
