Kids Doing Good: Cameron Monfared selected to be U.S. delegate to UN Youth Assembly

A Beaverton High School student will be representing the United States on a very public stage.

Cameron Monfared, a junior, was recently selected to be a U.S. delegate to the Youth Assembly at the United Nations.

He is the only one from the Portland area to get the honor.

He leaves next Monday to work with other students from around the world to help solve world problems.

“I’m just hoping to build both national and international relationships so that we can continue the work that we do here in the local community,” he said.
