1 dead, 1 wounded in Northeast Portland shooting
Detectives investigated a shooting Friday night that left one person dead and another in the hospital.
Police were called to the Fox Run mobile home park in the 9000 block of Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard just after 8 p.m. When they got there they found two men shot. One man was dead and the other was wounded.
Police said the investigation determined that 21-year-old Jeffrey Morse of Portland died as a result of suicide after shooting a 51-year-old man inside the trailer.
The wounded man was taken to the hospital. He's expected to survive.
Homicide detectives and the Oregon state medical examiner responded to the scene.
Police say he public is not at risk.
