PORTLAND, Ore. — A man was shot in the buttocks Wednesday night in Southeast Portland, police said.

Police were called around 8:10 p.m. to near Southeast 136th Avenue and Powell Boulevard.

The man was taken to the hospital. His condition wasn’t immediately known.

Police said they found evidence of gunfire about a block north of the intersection.

Police have closed 136th Avenue from about the 3300 to 3500 block for their investigation.
