$1,000 reward offered in bike lane vandal case
A thousand dollars are yours for the taking if you can help nail a suspect in Portland.
The group is asking for the public's help in finding the person throwing nails in the Interstate Avenue bike lane.
BikePortland publisher Jonathan Maus says it's a small price to pay for a sense of safety.
"People are intentionally trying to harm other innocent people and cause damage to their private property," he said. "I think it's really serious, and I think it's time to stop."
BikePortland's initial reward was $500, but an anonymous donor said he would match that reward to bring the total to $1,000.
