PORTLAND, Ore. – A 15-year-old boy is accused of robbing and killing another teen whose body was found in a Northeast Portland motel room in December 2018.

Jeremiah Terrel Hannon is charged with two counts of murder. KATU News is naming the suspect because he faces measure 11 crimes.

The body of 18-year-old Ian Olson of St. Helens was found on December 21 at the Motel 6 on Northeast Halladay Street.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office determined Olson died of homicidal violence as a result of a gunshot injury.

Court records show that along with the two counts of murder with a firearm, Hannon faces first and second-degree robbery charges.

It's not known how the two were connected to each other.

Hannon is also accused – along with another teen – of beating a man on a MAX train just six days after Olson's murder.
