Pull out the straw hats and cowboy boots! The St. Paul Rodeo is back for its 83rd year
Nothing says "Fourth of July" like the 83rd annual St. Paul Rodeo! The little town of St. Paul, with a population under 500, will welcome 50,000 visitors through Saturday, July 7.
You'll see the roughest, toughest contests between humans and animals. The Full Throttle Trick Riders will take your breath away with their fast paced, high-energy act incorporating trick-riding’s most difficult maneuvers on fast horses with pyrotechnics and dazzling costumes.
There's also a carnival, vendors, food, the Tack Room Saloon, the Wild West Art Show and tons of other live entertainment.
If you ask around, this rodeo has a great reputation around the world. Olive Parker is a western artist from Montana. She says her favorite part about the rodeo is the people.
"The people of St. Paul make this a really special rodeo. You've got the biggest Fourth of July rodeo in the nation in the most wonderful small town in America," she said.
The parade and the Great Western Barbecue Cook-Off are on July 4. Don't forget about the fireworks show each night after the rodeo.
July 3rd - July 7th, 2018
The rodeo begins at 7:30 each night, with a special matinee family rodeo at 1:30pm on July 4th.
