Blanchet House hosts Pet-A-Pig fundraiser, featuring Portland's famous pig
Portland's Blanchet House hosted a fundraiser to benefit the Q Center, as well as Blanchet's addiction recovery farm Saturday afternoon.
People gathered at the Q Center for Pet-A-Pig to hang out with therapy piglets and help out the Blanchet Center and the Q Center.
City Commissioner Chloe Eudaly even came out to pet the therapy pigs.
The event also featured a special appearance by Portland's famous pig "P. Iggy."
Proceeds went to benefit Blanchet House's addiction recovery farm, which provides a space far away from the temptations of city life where men can actively work on their recovery.
